Bicol Region
Waterfalls in Camarines Sur
Camarines Sur occupies the central part of the Bicol peninsula, with Naga City as the main hub and Mount Isarog rising behind it. Our coverage includes Malabsay Falls in Panicuason, a forested cascade on the mountain's slopes, and Nalalata Falls in Bula, a cold spring cascade in the Rinconada district. The area is also a base for Isarog trails, hot springs and Bicol river trips. The climate is wet, and the mountain can be cloudy even in the dry season, so start early and check the trail with local guides. The dry months from December to May are the most reliable for a visit.
