Waterfalls in Pangasinan
Pangasinan stretches along the western side of Luzon, with Lingayen as the capital and the northern coast around Bolinao as the main draw for beach trips. Our coverage is Bolinao Falls, a group of three cascades in the hills of Barangay Samang Norte, a short tricycle ride from town. The falls is usually paired with Patar Beach, the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse and the giant clam sanctuary, all within a day's drive. Buses from Manila take five to six hours, and the dry season from November to May is best for clear water and easier trails. Bring cash for fees, cottages and tricycle fares.
