A 20-metre waterfall with a deep plunge pool in the forest of Trinidad, known locally as Busay sa Kawasan.
Trinidad's Kawasan Falls, locally Busay sa Kawasan, drops about 20 metres into a plunge basin. In summer the basin holds clear, emerald-green water; after heavy rain it turns murky with runoff. A high overhanging cliff rises beside the pool, and the surrounding LGU-maintained forest is why the spot stays cool and shaded. It is much smaller than the famous Kawasan Falls in Badian, Cebu, and is best appreciated as a quiet local outing.
