Gabaldon Falls in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija

A cold, spring-fed cascade tucked into the Sierra Madre foothills near Cabanatuan.

Gabaldon Falls drops about 3 metres into a clear, cold plunge pool inside the eco park on the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology campus. The walk from the gate follows the Gabaldon Falls River through shaded forest, past huge boulders and streaks of multicoloured stone, with several shallow stream crossings along the way. The basin is shallow enough for wading and swimming, and the picnic grounds near the entrance make it an easy half-day stop from Cabanatuan.
