Dam-agan Falls in Dimiao, Bohol

A zig-zag cascade over big rock shelves in Dimiao, a short walk from the road.

Dam-agan Falls is named from the Visayan dam-ag, to crash or bump, after the water hitting the pool below. Two cascades tumble over wide rock shelves into a big pool large enough that locals have put a bamboo raft on it, and old-growth trees shade the whole basin. It is only a short walk from the drop-off point, and a small entrance fee is collected on site. Most visitors pair it with Ipo Falls, a few minutes upstream.
