Before you travel
Temporarily closed. The Alamada municipal government lists the falls and eco-tourism park as under temporary closure for rehabilitation; reopening has been announced but not officially confirmed. Check with the Alamada tourism office before travelling.
Asik-Asik Falls does not drop from a river. Spring water emerges from crevices in a 60 m rock wall covered in ferns and moss, spreading into a 140 m wide curtain that falls into a shallow pool. The site was opened to visitors only in 2012 and is now the best-known natural attraction in Cotabato. Expect a rough road and a short descent, then a cold spray that reaches most of the basin.
